Cookie Policy
Last updated October 1, 2026
Short version: one cookie, it keeps you signed in, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing here that needs consent.
The only cookie this site sets
| Name | What it does | How long | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
session |
Keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and protects the sign-in form against cross-site request forgery. | Until you sign out or close the browser | Strictly necessary |
It holds a signed reference to your account. It contains no advertising identifier, no profile, and nothing that identifies you to anyone else. Without it you could not stay signed in, which is why it is classed as strictly necessary.
What this site does not set
- No analytics cookies — there is no analytics at all.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social media cookies or share buttons.
- No third-party cookies of any kind, because no third-party code runs on these pages.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist because of rules such as the EU ePrivacy Directive, which require consent before storing anything on your device that is not strictly necessary. A cookie that exists purely to keep you signed in falls within the exemption, so asking for permission to set it would be theatre.
If analytics, advertising or any other non-essential cookie is ever added to this site, a proper consent banner will be added at the same time and this page will say so.
Local storage
This site does not use browser local storage to identify or track you.
Turning cookies off
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking this one will stop you being able to sign in, because there would be nothing to remember you by between one page and the next.
